We tried out the Manfrotto XPro Video Monopod while we were shooting stills and movies for African Horseback Safaris in the Okavango Delta in Botswana and really loved it. You can check out the full report on the Manfrotto Website and here is a short movie clip about our trip, showing some sequences of the monopod in use.

We certainly had a fun time in the delta shooting pics for the African Horseback Safaris marketing team. The game, with the low water levels, was really plentiful and we got some awesome images of the horse riders in action as well as the wildlife.

There was no shortage of buffalo in the area and we were able to get surprisingly close to the herds when you took care and got the wind direction right.
